Egyptian Mythology – Osiris and Seth

Seth is among the 9 supreme gods of historical Egypt. He’s the son of the earth god Geb and the goddess of the sky Nut, a brother to the gods Osiris, Isis and Nephthys, and in addition the husband of Nephthys. Seth is the god of deserts, of storms and earthquakes and the lord of chaos and rage that descends upon mankind. Seth could be very jealous of his brother Osiris for a lot of causes. The primary is that Osiris inherited the throne after Geb abdicated, Seth thought he deserved the throne and at all times sought to usurp the throne. Second, based on mythology, Nephthys disguised as Isis, seduced Osiris and have become pregnant with him. The widespread youngster of the 2 is the jackal god, Anubis.
